Milwaukee based software engineer with a growing passion to build simple and complicated systems to solve real problems. Originally going for a mechanical engineering degree, I dropped the idea of going to school and I took a year off until finally attending the Web Development course from devCodeCamp and obtained a Certificate of Completion. I have 2 years of experience with tutoring through my school and another 1.5 years of management-related work experience. I’ve also done small volunteer/contract work with different companies and organizations without pay.
What I Bring
My skills in many programming languages, as well as frameworks, help me bring a good understanding of how to solve problems, and working with people makes me a great team member and leader.
I’m quick to learn something new, and I’d never back down from diving into an unknown area. I understand my tradeoffs in my code, and I make sure to always learn from mistakes
I love creating highly automated systems, but it’s also fun to go through the problem-solving steps to finally complete a small feature or sprint. New technologies and frameworks are popping everywhere, and it means that more and more complicated sites are being created, and I think that’s very interesting. It’s not the thing for everyone, but after knowing how to code for years, I finally sat down and dove deep to really appreciate the beauty of it.
