Technology has always been a passion of mine. During my teens, I owned and operated an online gaming community for which I maintained the server and website. I switched gears to pursue my interest in Political Science for higher education, but never fully abandoned this inclination for computers. Having recently completed school for coding, I am now pursuing a fulfilling career in computer science and coding.
In the interim, I worked positions in the service industry as a bartender and the like. This was invaluable in learning to work as a team and ultimately forced me to abandon my introverted ways. Being both a leader and an active participant are skills I hope to bring to any collaborative setting. This coupled with my readiness to learn new technologies will inevitably benefit my organization, but also help me bring my own ideas to fruition.
What I Bring
A drive for constant self-reflection and improvement coupled with a fun and laid back temperament. I am committed to learning, specifically self-teaching, and motivated to put these new ideas and skills to use.
I am intensely focused on quality. When I set out to accomplish a task, I make sure I do it to the best of my abilities. Having a sense of pride in my work is paramount in delivering a product and inspires me to push myself. I am also open to critique and new ideas and can easily adapt and problem solve.
I opted to go to school because I felt unchallenged in my current position and wished to develop a skill set that would bring my ideas to life and increase my opportunity. As I tackled my coursework, I solidified my love for coding and intensified my passion for problem-solving. Code is the future. It creates solutions for any problem and gives me the individual power to explore new ideas. It also satiates my creative desires and allows me to adapt concepts into something tangible that will touch the lives of others.
