10-Day Final Project

I chose to build an Inventory Management system because of my previous work experience managing the Google Nest Beta Testing population where we didn’t have one, we were constantly assigning devices to users and tracking it in a Google Sheet that after the product launch or feature launch that was driving us to send the devices out would almost certainly stop being updated.

I chose to build the project using a React application accessing a Django REST API and was determined to get all functionality working. In future versions I would like to add the following:

  • UI upgrades
  • When declining requests for products or site access have the decision-maker enter a reason for the justification
  • Allow users to see their historical requests

Hire Me Because…

I am a self-motivated individual who loves to learn and improve at what they do, and who views unsolved problems as a challenge waiting to be conquered.

Passion For Programming

With programming, I am most passionate about finding unique solutions to real problems. I love puzzles and problem solving, and working out new solutions to those problems. My favorite moments in programming are when you have a section of code that isn’t behaving, and you are stepping through with the debugger and are able to resolve the bug.

Watch My Capstone Presentation

A 10-day sprint that starts with each students’ idea. They are responsible for architecting this application, researching and learning any new languages or technologies to complete it, and build the final project. Since this is their crowning achievement during our course, instructors are very hands-off during the lifecycle of the development of their capstone.
