Before I found my passion for programming, I was indulging in one of my other passions which happens to be traveling. While backpacking through South East Asia, I networked with a lot of fellow travelers who were self-labeled “digital nomads” and most of them were programmers of some sort. After having those encounters, I knew that I was passionate about software development and that I should pursue it. I have a knack for computers and technology stemming from a very young age and an eager willingness to learn.
I work hard and I don’t allow any situation to defeat me. I attribute that quality to my military experience. Serving 3+ years in the Army taught me critical problem-solving skills, discipline, and attention to detail, all skills that are valued in the software development field. Other hobbies include listening to music, watching anime, reading, and NBA basketball, but my absolute favorite hobby is traveling internationally and trying all the different kinds of foods. I’m a bit of a foodie.
