10-Day Final Project

For my Capstone, I created an E-Commerce application based on a user having the function to view add a product to the shopping cart and purchase as well on the client-side.

Watch my video presentation of this application below.

Hire Me Because…

I am a Veteran of the US Army and as a soldier, I could adapt and overcome whatever the situation is given especially in a combat zone. I am a fast learner and a hard worker with anything you throw at me. During my time at DevCodeCamp, I displayed my ability to learn and understand new languages and technologies and to meet project deadlines. There were many challenges and obstacles with the projects given in a certain timeframe and many hours of research to complete as a group and individual. I look forward to learning and growing with a company that takes care of its own.

Passion For Programming

I enjoy computers in general and the possibilities are endless, especially when creating an application that the whole world can use and knowing I created that would just make me happy. Anything is possible and technology is always growing therefore I am always learning to grasp the information as a developer.

Three Words About My Professional Qualities

Determined: I like to finish what I start.

Motivated: My internal drive for success at the job site.

Committed: I stay loyal to getting the job done correctly.

Three Words That Describe The Best Role For Me

Team Oriented: I collaborate well with others to get the job done on the task given.

Flexible: I’m open to alternative work schedules.

Remotely: Would like to virtually work out of the office if possible.

Watch My Capstone Presentation

A 10-day sprint that starts with each students’ idea. They are responsible for architecting this application, researching and learning any new languages or technologies to complete it, and build the final project. Since this is their crowning achievement during our course, instructors are very hands-off during the lifecycle of the development of their capstone.
